I am a registered dietitian (RD), certified diabetes care and education specialist (CDCES), and certified intuitive eating counselor.
I have over nine years of experience in nutrition counseling working with thousands of clients on a variety of nutrition issues. Over the years I have witnessed countless clients who were fixated on counting calories, meal planning, and chronic dieting all in attempts for weight loss. I discovered the principles of intuitive eating and truly believe they are the foundation to developing and maintaining a healthy relationship with food, and ultimately living a happier, healthier life. I want to introduce others to what I have learned, and spread the message of health at every size and intuitive eating.
My mission is to support clients as they break free from diet culture and disordered eating patterns to develop a healthy, positive relationship with food through virtual nutrition counseling and online nutrition programs.
Thank you for stopping by!
I am an anti-diet dietitian- diets are restrictive and don’t work.
I am a weight-inclusive dietitian (meaning I don’t prescribe meal plans for weight loss).
I specialize in disordered eating and helping people repair their relationship with food.
I utilize the principles of intuitive eating in my practice.
I focus on addition to your diet rather than restriction.
My Approach to Care
I love to travel and want to hear about all the places you’ve been and where you’re going next (the right is me eating spanakopita in Greece).
I absolutely love the real housewives and get excited to talk Bravo with anyone that will listen (Kyle Richards is my #1, don’t try to convince me otherwise).
Mint and chocolate do not belong together (mint and chip ice cream is actually the worst).
I love Britney Spears and will forever be a fan.
I love fall and winter, my perfect weather is 50 degrees and no sun. I just want to be cozy (not a big fan of summer).
Any reason to make a powerpoint- count me in.
My friends have described my personality as a “yellow.” My favorite color is purple, but I see what they mean.
